Shooting range in Noida named after ‘Shooter Dadi’ Chandro Tomar

Uttar Pradesh government has announced that the shooting range in Noida will be named after Chandro Tomar, popularly knows as ‘Shooter Dadi’.
The chief minister has given directions for the same.
Chandro Tomar had passed away on April 30th at a hospital in Meerut, after she tested positive for Covid-19.
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh had also demanded to name the shooting range after Chandro Tomar.
A native of UP’s Bagpat district, she was the oldest woman sharpshooter in the world, popularly called ‘shooter dadi’ (shooter granny) and an inspiration to the numerous women of rural Western UP.
