Silent Protest In New Delhi, People Condemn Attack and Threats on Muslims in India!

The 25th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid last week was hyped by Hindutva forces, with the demand for a temple in Ayodhya, far too many hate messages on WhatsApp about ‘love jehad’, while sabhas in city after city made hate speeches. And then the ghastly incident, on December 6th in Rajnagar, the headquarter town of Rajsamand district in Rajasthan, brought back those horrible memories of the riots in the wake of the Babri Masjid demolition, the Gujarat riots of 2002 and the recent lynchings of innocent Muslims across the country.

On Saturday In Delhi, People Staged a silent protest against the attack on Muslims in India and also against Hindutva Terror and lynchings of Indian citizens by saffron terrorists.

Ten News Caught up with on of the Protestor, She Said, “In societies where the law instills fear of punishment, the polity promises justice without discrimination and the state doesn’t mix politics and religion, such fanatics generally can’t muster the courage to execute the violence in their mind. But, a gradual erosion of such intuitional and moral checks and balances is visible in today’s India.”
