Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 15, 2020: Even as the political storm at Rajasthan seems to be losing its intensity, the dust doesn’t look to settle anytime soon.

Anguished with the recent actions of his deputy, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday launched a scathing attack at the Tonk MLA and said, “Speaking good English, giving good bytes and being handsome isn’t everything. What is inside your heart for the country, your ideology, policies, and commitment, everything is considered.”

While Gehlot shied away from naming any leader, his intent and tone made it very evident about the person he was referring to.

Rajasthan Chief Minister also said that he has love and admiration for the younger generation however; reaching at a certain post takes time and struggles.
“I have been in politics for 40 years, we love the new generation, the future will be theirs. This new generation, they have become central ministers, state presidents if they had gone through what we did in our time, they would have understood,” he told reporters.

Earlier in the day, Sachin Pilot had announced that he is not joining BJP. Indeed, if the recent developments are anything to go by, it will be very difficult for the former Chief Minister to return to the Congress.

On Tuesday, AICC had dissolved all the District Congress Commities and Block Congress Committees of Rajasthan Pradesh with immediate effect.
The process of formation of new committees will begin soon, party leaders said.
