‘Special Children’ of Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan celebrate Republic Daywith enthusiasm

Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan – an initiative of The Ponty Chadha Foundation celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day today with great reverence. With a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour, the children sang patriotic songsand even wore tri-coloured bands to mark the occasion.

The students saluted the National Flag and pledged to upholdthe honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness of the motherland. The flag hoisting was followed by singing of the national anthem, a skit performance inspired by the journey of Indian freedom fighters and paid a special tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh for their contribution towards the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Vandana Sharma, Director, Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan School said,“It is our endeavour to spread the message of patriotismand infuse feelings of dedication and loyalty in the young hearts. I wish all the students to excel in their respective work areas and make the country proud.”
