St. Joseph’s School Concludes CISCE Regional Girls’ Athletic Meet 2026–27 with Grand Success

Greater Noida News (22 July 2026): St. Joseph’s School, Greater Noida, successfully concluded the CISCE Regional Girls’ Athletic Meet 2026–27, held on July 21 and 22, with enthusiastic participation from talented athletes representing various CISCE zones across Uttar Pradesh. The two-day championship showcased exceptional sporting talent, competitive spirit and discipline among young athletes competing across multiple age categories.

The prestigious event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by Dr. Ritu Sood, an internationally acclaimed athlete and distinguished sports personality, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the participants, she motivated the young sportspersons to pursue excellence with dedication, discipline and determination. She highlighted that consistent hard work, perseverance and a positive mindset are essential not only for success in athletics but also in every aspect of life.

Throughout the championship, participants competed in an exciting lineup of track and field events under the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories. The competition witnessed outstanding performances, with athletes demonstrating remarkable skill, endurance and commitment while upholding the true spirit of fair play and sportsmanship.

The championship concluded with a colourful closing ceremony that began with the National Anthem. The Principal of St. Joseph’s School addressed the gathering and congratulated all athletes for their spirited performances. The Principal also appreciated the dedicated efforts of the coaches, officials, team managers and the organising committee whose meticulous planning ensured the smooth and successful execution of the event.

The ceremony was attended by David Sir, school principals, team managers, coaches, officials, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of St. Joseph’s School. The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and stakeholders for contributing to the success of the championship.
