Stars let their hair down at Piku party as film nets Rs 78 crore worldwide

Deepika Padukone’s new movie Piku has grossed Rs 78.36 crore worldwide, and the actress hosted a party at a swank Mumbai eatery on Monday night to celebrate the film’s success.

The Shoojit Sircar film has emerged as the biggest Bollywood hit overseas this year so far. Back home, the film has grossed over Rs 55 crore.

Joining Deepika at the party were Sircar and co-star Irrfan, though Amitabh Bachchan, who plays her father in the film, was absent.
