THE CORRUPT OFFICERS OF DEPARTMENT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED
FINE TO S.P.I.O.’S, COMPENSATION TO APPELLANT AND SHOW CAUSE NOTICE TO NEW S.P.I.O. FOR NOT SUPPLYING THE FULL INFORMATION

Information was sought from the Elementary School Headmistress, Government Middle School, Labour Colony, Jagadhri, District Yamunanagar (Haryana) in the year 2014 regarding the financial and other administrative activities of her predecessor, who was reverted to the post of Mistress in the same School. The former officiating In charge of the School started harassing the newly appointed ESHM in the year 2014 by finding her involvement in various irregularities. The new incumbent brought the whole matter to all her superiors viz. DEEO, DEO & Clster In charge, Jagadhri, District Yamunanagar (Haryana), in writing. But the said authorities in the Education Department, in order to shield the former officiating In charge, managed the transfer the new ESHM to a faraway place. Even the husband of the newly appointed ESHM, working in Education Department, was also transferred to a faraway place by falsely showing that he was strictly warned by the DEEO, Jagadhri, while no such warning was issued to him and even the DEEO, Jagadhri was not competent to issue any kind of warning to him.
By feeling aggrieved with the illegal activities of the Education Department, father of the victimised ESHM, sought information under R.T.I. from the various authorities of Education Department. But in just to save the skin of their corrupt officers, the S.P.I.O.’s tried to hide correct information and even the First Appellate Authority’s (R.T.I.) failed to elicit correct & complete information from the S.P.I.O.’s. Having no alternative, the person seeking the information hauled the matter to the State Information Commission, Haryana.
On one of the Second Appeal of the appellant, Dr. Rekha, Information Commissioner, Haryana, imposed fine of Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 2,500/- on Joginder Singh Kundu, Superintendent (Co-ordination) and Neeraj Kumar, Clerk, HRM – 1 Branch of the O/o Director, Elementary Education, Haryana, respectively and simultaneously awarded compensation of Rs. 1,500/- to appellant and issued Show Cause Notice to another S.P.I.O. for not supplying the complete and correct information in compliance to the Order of information commission and directed him to be present on 29.06.2016. Earlier the Information Commission, Haryana had found guilty the S.P.I.O.-cum-B.E.O., Jagadhri Block for not supplying 10 points out of the 12 points of same applicant and the F.A.A. (R.T.I.)-cum-B.E.E.O., Jagadhri was warned for passing wrong order. Despite the directions issued by the commission, the S.P.I.O.-cum-B.E.O. has not supplied the correct information on the 10 points in question and the appellant has now carried the matter to the information commission.
In another case pertaining to the transfer of son-in-law of the appellant the Information Commission, Haryana, has summoned Sh. Surinder Singh Negi, S.P.I.O.-cum-Assistant Director of the O/o Director, Secondary Education, Haryana, for not supplying the information sought by the appellant in compliance of orders of the Commission. In another matter relating to the same issue, an appeal of the appellant is pending before the Information Commission, Haryana against the S.P.I.O.-cum-B.E.O., Jagadhri Block and F.A.A. (R.T.I.)-cum-B.E.E.O., Jagadhri.
