Student Agitation : The World doesn’t look happy at Sharda University

Sharda University goes by the tagline of “The World is Here, Where Are you?”, however another unfortunate incident has raised serious questions about administrative capabilities of the college authorities.
Sharda University on Saturday afternoon turned into an ugly center of agitation by hundreds of furious students gathered in one of its block.
Today noon a large group of students gathered near administrative block and started raising loud slogans against Universities decision of imposing fine on students having short attendance. There are also reports of some mild physical scuffle within the campus.
Demand of money by college authorities to allow short attendance students to appear in the exam is being told as a reason for the agitation. Students have called this decision of University as authoritarian and are saying that this is simply an unjustified act of getting more money out of students.
As can be seen in the video students also tried to gheroed the VC. University VC can be seen being engulfed by agitated students.
The incident has raised serious questions over the security of students in this much publicized world class university.
In another video private security of the college can be seen manhandling a person who seems to be a student of the university.
Later police had to intervene to calm down the situation. A huge amount of force was pressed into action as precautionary measure considering presence of large number of students in the campus.
After the incident media entrance was denied inside the campus on disguise of it being a private property.
We also tried contacting the University administration but calls went unanswered. Official version of Sharda University regarding the incident cannot be obtained because of the same.
