Greater Noida, Sept 9th,2022: India’s largest exhibition on electric vehicles, EV India Expo 2022 is being held at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida.
Providing a global platform to more than 200 exhibitors, the expo showcases the latest products and technologies in the world of EVs.
In conversation with Ten News, the Product Head of ‘Onzo EV Motors’ outlined his company’s modern and innovative EV products.
Talking about the features of their two-wheelers, he says that their battery-operated scooters and bike have a maximum speed of 90 km/hr.
“It can run for 140kms after a single charge. It has a 72 volts battery and three gears. The starting price of the bike is approx Rs. 1.2 lakhs”, he said.
When asked about the safety concerns, he explained that electric scooters catch fire due to two main reasons, i.e., short-circuit and faulty battery.
“We have given utmost priority to the quality of wires and battery. All our machine parts are tested in several stages before launching them in the markets”, he said.
Speaking about the response from the expo, he said, “All our products are made with extreme care and precaution so that the customers are not disappointed. The response from the exhibition is wonderful since people nowadays are switching over to battery-operated vehicles in view of pollution and environment”.
