Sunshine Society organizes 7th annual event on the theme: “Celebrating Togetherness”

Noida : 8th December 2019, was a milestone in the history of Sunshine Society, an NGO working for children & senior citizens when it saw a gush of social coterie at Meghdootam Park in sector 50, Noida singing and dancing to the tune of it’s 7th Annual Event. The event which was organised on the theme “Celebrating Togetherness” reverberated throughout the venue.
The event, one of it’s kind saw a mix gathering of children, parents, teachers, elders, sponsors, guests, corporates and team of sunshine intermingling with each other. The annual event started with sponsor-child meet where the sponsors and children came together and spent time understanding and bonding with each other. Games were organized for children by B Military Fit (BMF) which increased their energy levels.
Sunshine Society educates around 250 children studying in schools and around 200 children in 3 after school study program centres also hosted a grand cultural evening which commenced with saraswati vandana. Ashish Srivastava who is Head-CSR & Corporate Communication, Marelli India shared his experience with Sunshine Society and motivated the children.
Hemlata, Principal, Rajkiya Balika Inter College, Noida talked about the role of education in one’s life and how Sunshine Society has been able to bring about a considerable change in the society. Vinod Prakash Gupta, Member, Sunshine Society inspired the children with his life’s experiences and motivated them to work hard.
Few students shared their learning throughout their journey with Sunshine Society. The cultural programs were an eye-opener with kid’s dances on themes like banning plastic, yog for health, himmat aur disha, love you zindagi, dance for fun and a play on “Road accident victim”.
The grand finale was an energetic and captivating performance by our senior citizens “Tribute to Sridevi”. Sunshine Society stands committed to make the lives of the children and senior citizens better, happy, healthy and dignified.
NOIDA came together to celebrate the togetherness – Poor work for the city , city work for the poor – Sunshine NGO Event for underprivileged children was full of energy , positivity and vibrancy . Sunshine Society President Vidya Akkireddy , Vice President Ramita Taneja and Secretary General Vaishali Joshi and their team worked hard to drive 2000 plus persons from all age groups & starts and connect them for the social cause. Ms Hemlata , Principal ,Girls Intercollege , Prof Rajesh Sahay , SG, NOFAA , Gajanan Mali , Founder , Ten News Network were present amongst others to inspire and motivate the buddying artists and the Team Sunshine .
