About Noida International Airport

Noida International Airport, with the IATA code DXN, is being developed in Jewar to serve the greater Delhi region and Western Uttar Pradesh. The airport is envisioned as a major aviation and economic infrastructure project, connecting the region with cities across India and international destinations.

The airport has adopted sustainable design and operational principles as part of its long-term objective of achieving net-zero emissions. Its development also includes a focus on providing passengers with modern facilities and a comprehensive commercial experience.

The project is being implemented by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG. YIAPL is responsible for the development, construction and operation of the greenfield airport under a public-private partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India.

The concession for the airport commenced on October 1, 2021, and is valid for 40 years. According to the airport’s master plan, the facility is designed for phased expansion over the concession period, with the potential to handle more than 70 million passengers annually once fully developed.
