Tahreek E Millat Foundation holds massive protest in Delhi, Demands reservation for Muslims

New Delhi: On February, 23, Tahreek Fikr E Millat Foundation holds massive protest in New Delhi in demand of nine percent reservation for Muslims, elections through ballot paper, reservation in promotion, implementation of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the protection of constitution.
The massive sit-in was joined by Tahreek E Millat Foundation, state president Mohammed Haneef Khan, National President Bhavnath Paswan and former Parliamentarian Aijaz Ali.
The protesters also claimed that the New Pension Scheme is against the government employees and government should implement the Old Pension Scheme so that the government employees can live a respected life in their old age.
The protesters aslo claimed that the elections shouldn be conducted through ballot papers to increase transparency in electoral process.
According to protesters, the Muslim community is the most backward community in the country, without providing reservation the community can not be uplifted.
The organisation members also stated that they will be meeting the Congress Chief to add these issues to the party’s menifesto for 2019 elections.
