Teacher’s Day Celebrations at Galgotias University Honor Legacy of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan

Chancellor Suneel Galgotia shared a message with the university community, reflecting on Dr. Radhakrishnan’s monumental contributions to Indian education and nation-building. “Dr. Radhakrishnan’s legacy as a teacher and his vision for India as a global leader in education are more relevant today than ever,” he noted. He emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in shaping India to become a ‘Vishwa Guru’—a world leader in knowledge and a forthcoming global superpower. Chancellor Galgotia also commended the Galgotias University teaching community for their unwavering commitment and excellence towards students’ success, which significantly contributes to the nation’s educational prowess.
The highlight of the day was the felicitation ceremony led by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. K.M. Babu and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Awadesh Kumar. They honoured faculty members for their exceptional dedication to student learning and their significant contributions to the field of research. Special recognition was given to two distinguished faculty members, Dr. Rishabha Malviya and Dr. Vinita Vishwakarma, for being recognized among the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University.
