I.T.S Engineering College, Gr. Noida, has successfully conducted a 35 days Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program on ‘Internet of Things (IOT)’from 26th Dec to 4th Feb 2020. The program was fully sponsored by DST – NIMAT to create an awareness of the need and importance of entrepreneurship based upon latest technology on ‘Internet of Things’.

In the valedictory session on 4th Feb the Chief Guest Dr. S.P. Mishra, Advisor-ITS Groups, motivated young enthusiastic minds who have come from different organizations. He told students that India is witnessing an upsurge of technology-driven and Knowledge- based enterprise. Whether it is the field of conventional business or any other modern business a sudden spurt in the number of new ventures or start-ups have taken the country by surprise. The 35 days long TEDP program became successful by the presence and sessions taken by different eminent personalities such as Mr. Satendra Kumar, GM, TBI KIET; Dr. Rita Sen Gupta, Ex-Director, NIESBUD; Dr. K.K. Goyal, Asst. Director, MSME; Ms. Sukriti Singh, MHA, Govt. of India; Dr. Lalit L Sharma, Prof. Jaipuria College; and many more.

The program ended with certificate distribution and Valedictory note by Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive director, I.T.S The Education Group. Dr. Singh told the students about the facilities provided by ITS in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. The TEDP is aimed to train young technologically graduate students with an entrepreneurial and professional mindset so that they may become future job providers instead of job seekers.

 

After this, a brief feedback as well as question answer session with the students was conducted to know about their ideas, views and perception about the program. The great young minds also had meetings with young entrepreneurs. Students were in rapt attention and enthusiasm throughout the program. There were interactive sessions too in which the students enthusiastically responded and participated.
