The Sky is Pink song ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ portrays Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar’s secret love affair

New Delhi: The first song of Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer, The Sky is Pink has been released by the makers today. The song titled Dil Hi Toh Hai is a love track which features the lead actors romancing on the narrow streets of Purani Dilli. It has a fresh feel which will appeal to the listeners who love romantic numbers.

Dil Hi Toh Hai portrays the secret love affair between the actors of the film. The video begins with Priyanka hiding her face with a helmet while riding on a bike with Farhan. However, she does not keep the helmet on for long leaving Farhan in fear. Moving forward, the song takes a leap to the time when their love turns into marriage and the number of family members changes to four. It’s a beautiful track and the chemistry between Priyanka and Farhan is electrifying and palpable.

The song has been composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra. Gulzar has penned down the breezy romantic number that also has English lyrics by Nikhil Paul George.



Priyanka is making a comeback to Hindi film industry, after a long break of three years with ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film cast also includes Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The film is based on the real life of a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who suffered an immune deficiency at the age of 13. It also sheds light on the love story of her parents. The role of the parents will be played by Priyanka and Farhan and Zaira will be seen as Aisha Chaudhary. The film also traces the love story of a couple spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their daughter.

The film is co-produced by Priyanka, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur and is scheduled to release on October 11, 2019.
