Theatre festival of Majlis,Bimtech going on with 22 teams from NCR.

BIMTECH,GREATER NOIDA ORGANIZES ANNUAL INTER COLLEGE THEATRE FEST As the sun rose, the smell of theatre filled the air of bimtech. THE MAJLIS THEATRE FEST –the Annual Intercollege Fest finally began. The event kicked off with Parivartan – The Street Play Event. Sixteen of the best amateur teams competed for the ultimate prize judged by Mr. Rahul Khanna, an esteemed member of Asmita Theatre Group and by Dr. Abu Kalam Masroor  Hadi of Bahroop Group. All the street plays raised important social issues and left us with food for our thoughts.Even though the day started settling.. but the enthusiasm and zest did not. As Majlis Fest began with its second phase of Stage Play, BIMTECH witnessed seven of the best team giving nail biting performances. Judges of the event Mr. Firoz Zahid Khan, Faculty at Mr. Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods Film Academy, Mumbai and Mr. Shahbaz Hasibi, IPTA-JNU, Media and Communication Officer, Prime Ministers’ Office. were in a fix while declaring results due to excellent and competitive performances.Great Theatre is about challenging how we think and encouraging us to create a world we aspire for. The Majlis Theatre Festival did exactly this and left us in awe. The event was attended by more than 400 amateur theatre enthusiasts.
