A huge protest demonstration against the GST was today staged by Congress, in which huge number of people participated.
The protestors demanded repealing of GST of 28% slab.
Congress leader Ajay Maken, while speaking on the event said that, “When Congress tried to bring GST with 14% slab, BJP opposed us but today when they brought it at 28% without any regards for the poor and middle class people of the country.”
This is not GST, Maken said, it is an exploitative law that needs reconsidering.
