Thousands take part in euphoric Yoga Day Celebrations at Greater Noida

Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts participated in a mass yoga sessions to mark the fourth International Yoga Day today morning at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida.
People had started reaching the venue from six in the morning. The initiative was organized on behest of MLA Dhirendra Singh along with different social organizations of the city who worked hard and promoted the event to masses thus making it a grand and successful event.
Central Minister having charge of Rail & coal ministry Piyush Vedprakash Goyal was the chief guest for the event. He was welcomed by MLA Jewar Dhirendra Singh who was also the convener for the whole program by presenting a bouquet to him. He then practiced various pranayam and asanas along with Greater Noida residents as guided by the yoga instructors present on the stage.
Interacting with media he said that because of this Yoga day finally he got opportunity to visit Greater Noida and he feels very happy to be part of such energetic crowd.
Further he said “Thanks to this Yoga Day India had registered its presence on the world map and now the whole world is looking us for our leadership in different aspects whether it is Yoga, Spirituality or Environment & climate change. When on 21st june people from different cast and creed perform yoga together it spreads a message to the people who want to divide the society that this country is united”.
After the yoga session refreshments were provided to all the participants. Members of Active Citizen Team (social organization in the city) worked hard for making the event successful.
