Three guests & a driver of BJP’s senior leader abducted in Delhi

New Delhi, March 2: On Monday night, three guests and a driver of senior BJP leader & Former MP AP Jithender Reddy were allegedly abducted by some unknown persons from outside his New Delhi Residence.

Delhi Police have registered an FIR in the connection & further investigation is underway.

Reddy, former Member of Parliament from Mahbubnagar constituency, was in Hyderabad at the time of the incident. The alleged incident took place in New Delhi’s South Avenue area.

It has been reported that social activist Ravi Munnur, his two associates, and Reddy’s driver Thapa were abducted.

Reddy said in a tweet, “Shocking incident at my residence in Delhi. My personal driver Thapa and social activist Shri Ravi Munnur were kidnapped last night. I have filed a complaint with the concerned police department. Hoping for quick action and speedy justice. @DelhiPolice.”

As per Reddy, Munnar and other guests came to his house on February 26 for some personal work. They were staying with the driver.

Delhi Police said, “An FIR has been registered upon a complaint received in South Avenue PS after 4 people were taken away by some unknown persons. Out of the 4 people, 3 were guests of former MP AP Jithender Reddy & 1 was his driver. Further investigation is underway.”
