From Javedkar’s call to social media trolling, Topper Raksha Gopal on life after results

Greater Noida (30/05/2017) : She is young, energetic, ambitious and meritorious. The bright girl from Noida who has topped in CBSE 12th standard exams by scoring 99.6% score, today spoke to us about how her life has changed since after the results.
Raksha Gopal said,”I had prepared well and was expecting a good result but 99.6% was really a surprise. It was just 5 minutes after checking my results that I received a call from Union HRD Minister Prakash Javedkar and he informed me that I was an all India topper”.
Talking of her preparation schedule she said,”I didn’t had any pre-planned schedule as such but I would daily prepare a list in my mind and would follow it”.
Speaking about balance between social life and studies she said,”It wasn’t like I was particularly confined to my school or house but I did had a good social life as well. For a project I also visited Agra this year and I believe that it is very important to have a nice balance between educational and co-curricular things”.
Soon after Raksha’s results were out, social-media especially twitter was flooded with jokes on her extremely high scores, commenting on it she said,”I have gone through most of that stuff and yes it’s funny. Since after my results I have been giving serious interviews and from time to time it’s a nice respite to go through all the other stuff that’s floating around. I have been using facebook myself as well though I am not on twitter. I would like to clarify that pages created on my name and other such profiles are fake”.
Raksha aspires to pursue political science and is eyeing Delhi Universities prestigious Lady Shree Ram College. She claims to be too young to be very definitive of her career goals but she hints that administrative services may be on cards.
