New Delhi: (21/12/18) EvExpo 2018, which is the 8th Eco Friendly Electric Vehicle Expo in India is being held in Delhi offering comprehensive market information, great business opportunities and a platform for networking. The 8th Edition of EV Expo was inaugurated today by Nitin Gadkari, Minister, Road Transport & Highways.
The 3-day event At Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will witness, wheeled electric vehicles, parts and accessories, charging solutions and technology from more than 150 national and international companies. Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the country’s leading automaker, will showcase its entire range of electric cars at the event.
EvExpo 2018 brings to the Electric vehicle industry the opportunity to showcase, see and understand the latest in electric vehicle, components and services for convenient and environment friendly transportation of passengers and foods.
Speaking on the Occasion, Nitin Gadkari said, “Electric Auto rickshaws, Electric Bikes are coming in India that’s a futuristic step and it’s a need of our country as well. We are Electric surplus because we have coal as well as solar power. So the crude oil we import our foreign exchange goes out from the country, so the import substitute, cost effective, Pollution free and indigenous Electric Transport we are focusing on.”
