Trio steals news channel cab in Greater Noida

Three criminals, including a woman, looted a news channel cab late on Saturday night in Greater Noida. The incident took place on the Yamuna Expressway service lane at a distance of 26km from zero point.

The cab was heading to Aligarh from Delhi. The victim, identified as Dewu, is a native of Aligarh. “Dewu reached Pari Chowk via Noida Extension where he spotted a girl signaling for lift. Two other people got into the SUV along with the girl. As soon as they reached Faleda village, the male occupants took out a pistol and put it on the victim’s forehead. On resistance, the miscreants injured him with the pistol’s butt. They then tied his hands and legs with a rope, threw him out and fled with the SUV,” said a senior police officer.
