Two-day prestigious International Optometry Conference begins at Galgotias University

Today, two-day prestigious International Optometry Conference was inaugurated at Galgotias University. The conference brought together leading optometrists, researchers, and ophthalmology scholars from India, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong on a common platform and had a successful discussion on the upcoming challenges and diagnosis of diseases related to eyesight.

Renowned experts had in-depth discussions on various topics such as the latest innovations in vision care technology, emerging trends in myopia management and the impact of digitalization on eye health. Chief guest of today’s program “Padma-Shri” Vipin Bakshi said that eyes are the most important ornament of our body. We should always take proper care of them. If you have vision then there is life, otherwise without vision life is dark and very painful. The participants had enthusiastic discussions, which fostered a spirit of global collaboration and knowledge sharing so that the common people can benefit from scientific technologies.

Students were given information about vision therapy, contract lenses, low vision, ocular prosthetics through different workshops.
