Unity in Diversity Takes Center Stage at Grads International School’s Christmas Celebrations

Greater Noida News (27/12/2025): Grads International School, Greater Noida, celebrated Christmas with a vibrant and inclusive programme that beautifully reflected the spirit of unity in diversity. The event brought together students Teachers and the guests together for cultural expression, music, dance, and messages that emphasized harmony beyond religious boundaries.

The celebrations stood out for its creative fusion of traditions. The school choir presented classic Christmas carols accompanied by Indian musical instruments such as the tabla and harmonium, creating a unique blend of Western melodies and Indian rhythms. Adding to the festive charm, students performed a special dance to an Indian-style rendition of “Jingle Bells,” symbolizing the seamless integration of global traditions with Indian artistic expression.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Aditi Basu Roy described Grads International School as a “Mini India,” where students from different faiths and backgrounds come together to form a unified community. She emphasized that the institution truly embodies secular values and promotes the belief that “we are the world, we are the children.” Her message highlighted the importance of inclusivity, mutual respect, and collective growth.
During her address, the Principal also introduced the chief guest, Gajanan Mali, Founder of Ten News Network, referring to him as a distinguished and multi-talented personality. She encouraged students to draw inspiration from his life experiences and words of wisdom. Concluding her message, she reminded the children that a meaningful and happy New Year can only be achieved through dedication, discipline, and sincere efforts in academics, guided by their teachers.
The event gained further momentum with the address by Guest of Honour Gajanan Mali, who spoke passionately about the values of hard work, unity, and coexistence. He urged students to remain focused on their studies, stating that true happiness and success come through perseverance and commitment. Reflecting on the school’s diverse environment, he noted that despite differences in religion and culture, the school community stands united. “One school, many religions—yet we are one, we are the world,” he remarked, encouraging students to see themselves as responsible citizens of a global society.

In a delightful surprise for the audience, Gajanan Mali also showcased his musical side. Describing himself as a learner of music, he sang “Har Desh Mein Tu, Har Bhesh Mein Tu,” adding warmth and enthusiasm to the festive atmosphere and earning appreciative applause from students and staff alike. The song conveyed the message of secularism to the students .
The celebration concluded with heartfelt New Year wishes, leaving students inspired and energized. The event reaffirmed Grads International School’s commitment to nurturing an inclusive, secular, and value-driven educational environment where diversity is celebrated as a strength.
