UP International Trade Show 2026: FIEO Northern Region Chairman Arvind Goenka Highlights Global Export Opportunities for UP MSMEs

Greater Noida News (26/09/2026): The fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show 2026 is emerging as a significant platform for connecting Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturers, exporters and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with international buyers. The five-day trade event is being held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, bringing together businesses from across the state and buyers from global markets.

Speaking to Ten News Network, Arvind Goenka, Regional Chairman, Northern Region, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), highlighted the growing importance of the trade show in providing Uttar Pradesh-based manufacturers with opportunities to showcase their products and explore new domestic and international markets.

Goenka said the exhibition brings together a wide spectrum of manufacturers, ranging from small-scale producers and handicraft enterprises to established industrial units and large factories. According to him, the diversity of exhibitors reflects the broad manufacturing capabilities and product potential of Uttar Pradesh.

He particularly highlighted the participation of around 600 foreign buyers from 88 countries, providing manufacturers with an opportunity to interact directly with international customers and business representatives.

Goenka said such direct engagement can be particularly valuable for small and emerging manufacturers, as it allows them to understand international market requirements, buyer expectations, product standards and emerging demand without having to make substantial initial investments in overseas marketing or business development.

He also outlined the role being played by FIEO in helping businesses, including manufacturers that have not previously entered the export market, understand the fundamentals of international trade. He said the organisation conducts training programmes, awareness sessions and capacity-building initiatives covering areas such as international quality standards, export documentation, market identification and the process of finding reliable overseas buyers.

According to Goenka, FIEO also supports Indian businesses in exploring international markets by facilitating participation in overseas trade exhibitions and business events at subsidised costs. Such initiatives, he said, can help companies gain greater exposure to international markets and develop long-term business relationships.

Discussing the export potential of Uttar Pradesh, Goenka said that continued efforts to bring international buyers directly to Indian manufacturers, along with regular editions of the UP International Trade Show, could contribute significantly to strengthening the state’s export ecosystem.

He further said that the increasing presence of international buyers at the trade show reflects growing interest in products manufactured in Uttar Pradesh. In his view, sustained buyer-manufacturer interactions and greater exposure to global markets could create additional opportunities for the state’s MSMEs and exporters.

Goenka expressed the view that Uttar Pradesh’s exports could potentially double over the next three to four years, citing increasing international interest, expanding manufacturing capabilities and direct engagement between foreign buyers and manufacturers as important factors supporting this possibility.

The UP International Trade Show 2026 continues to provide a platform for Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing and business community to connect with global markets. With a particular focus on MSMEs, exporters and emerging manufacturers, the event is facilitating business interactions aimed at expanding the reach of products made in Uttar Pradesh and strengthening the state’s position in international trade.
