UPITS 2025 Concludes with Record-Breaking Trade Momentum: 3,900+ MoUs Signed, Business Worth ₹12,500 Crore Expected

Greater Noida (30 September 2025): The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) ended on a historic note, generating strong business momentum and setting new benchmarks in India’s trade landscape. The five-day mega event, held at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from September 25–29, was organised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) acting as the nodal agency.

The trade fair facilitated over 31,650 business-to-business (B2B) meetings between international buyers and Indian exporters. These interactions culminated in the signing of more than 3,900 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), collectively valued at around USD 425 million (₹2,680 crore). In addition to the MoUs, the overall business prospects emerging from the event are projected to cross ₹12,500 crore, making UPITS 2025 one of the most successful trade shows ever hosted by the state.

The event drew unprecedented participation from 88 countries, including major economies such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the UAE. Regional neighbours like Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Uganda also marked their presence. On the domestic front, more than 2,400 sellers from Uttar Pradesh displayed a diverse range of products spanning handicrafts, textiles, engineering goods, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and electronics.

Commenting on the success of the trade show, Mr. S.C. Ralhan, President of FIEO, said: The scale and outcome of UPITS 2025 reflect the rising global confidence in India’s trade potential, particularly in products from Uttar Pradesh. The record number of MoUs and business enquiries demonstrate that Indian exporters are fully prepared to cater to global demand. With the right ecosystem and international outreach, Uttar Pradesh is poised to become a key driver of India’s export growth story.

The overwhelming response from global buyers not only reaffirmed the state’s growing reputation as a hub of quality exports but also showcased the state government’s commitment to creating a robust platform for international trade engagement.

With its blend of traditional industries and emerging sectors, Uttar Pradesh has positioned itself as a gateway for global business opportunities. The massive success of UPITS 2025 is expected to further boost confidence among exporters, buyers, and investors, paving the way for stronger global partnerships in the years ahead.
