Uttar Pradesh (18/12/2021): With UP elections round the corner, inaugurations and foundation laying ceremonies are happening at unprecedented pace in UP.
Prime Narendra Modi today laid the foundation of Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur. Speaking at the occasion, he said, “I congratulate everyone in Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Raebareli, Pratapgarh & Prayagraj. Over Rs 36,000 cr will be spent on this approx 600-km long expressway. Ganga Expressway will bring new industries in this region.”
He further added that the expressway with bring multitude of jobs for the youth of the region. “That day is not far when UP will be identified as the most modern state with next-generation infrastructure. The network of expressways in UP, the new airports being built, new rail routes being laid down are bringing several blessings to people of UP simultaneously,” PM Modi said.
In a major pitch for UP CM Yogi Adityanath he also coined a new slogan and said, ” UP plus Yogi bahut he UPYOGI”. Crowd cheered and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new poll plank.
