Ursuline Convent School presented wonderful , colourful and beautiful cultural bonanza

Greater Noida (12/12/2018) : Ursuline Convent Senior Secondary School, Greater Noida celebrated its Annual Day on 11th December titled “FILI DELLA VITA” with vibrancy and enthusiasm. B N Singh, DM Gautam Budh Nagar graced the occasion as chief guest and was welcomed by a thumping performance of school students band. Revr. Sister Nirupa , Provincial Superior of Nirmala Province was the Guest of Honor for the event. Both the guest were facilitated with a memento by school Principal Sister Renee as a token of gratitude.

The spectacular evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The program was an amalgamation of various shades befitting the theme of annual day celebrations wonderfully. A group of students gave a band performance in which they played different musical instruments and tuned it very well. There after students gave performances depicting various dance forms including western and folk dances, bhangra,Rajasthani along with patriotic performances showcasing the diversity of country.

The most interesting performance which drew a great applause was when tiny tots spread awareness about traffic rules in a interesting manner. Yoga performance by the student in which they performed difficult asanas with amazing ease left every one amazed in audience.

Speaking at the event B N Singh tried to touch every important aspect related to students and school. He emphasized on inculcating values among students. He said “Now a days students have larger exposure to information through internet and smart phones but we should also need to ensure that this information should be harnessed in a logical manner.”

Further he added “School should also have good coordination with parents. In recent time we have seen a bit of difference among them so this need to be taken care of from the school side.”
