This is probably the first time when the traditional style of folk songs and bhajans

are being used to apprise the people about the progressive schemes launched by

the Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar. As a part of initiative taken by

the Public Relations Department ‘Bhajan Groups’ are hired which apprise the people

of the development projects in their well known style of songs and bhajans. This

medium of communication used to be in practice in the traditional form of the

country. It also resembles the old system of ‘Munadi’ in which the drum players

were used to communicate the people shouting the message given by the head of

the village or state. These groups are covering two villages in a day and are

propagating the schemes of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Mission,

Pradhanmantri Jan-Dhan Yojna, CM Window, E-Registration, Common Service

Center and other such schemes started by the BJP let government in the state.
