Van Mahotsav”- Celebrations at GLBIMR

Under the able guidance of Shri Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Group and strategic acumen of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. “Van Mahotsav” was organized by G L Bajaj Institute of Management & Research by conducting Tree Plantation Drive on July 21, 2016.  Shri Pankaj Agrawal, and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, inaugurated the event by planting the trees. While addressing the audience Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General shared that tree plantation is a harbinger of prosperity. This small initiative would let our coming generations lead a healthy life.

GL Bajaj Group actively conducts Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities from the perspectives of Society and Environment and this is one of the events in the same direction. More than 200 Students, Faculty and Staff Members actively participated in the “Tree Plantation Drive” by planting the saplings within and outside the campus. The main aim of this drive is to create a sense of responsibility towards the resource protection and pollution free environment.
