Venkaiah Naidu Union Minister delivered highly motivational convocation address at Galgotias University. @MVenkaiahNaidu

Greater Noida, January 25: Galgotias University held its second annual convocation for the classes of 2016, where the Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Information & Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu, presented awards and delivered the convocation address to the university students.

While delivering the convocation address, Venkaiah Naidu said that it is important for every educational institution to create an atmosphere that encourages innovation and curiosity of minds.

While congratulating the graduate students and their parents, he urged the students to take the responsibility to share and spread the learning’s and lead India to a developed nation.

Naidu further said that the government is providing every possible support to train the young minds and to make the education available to everyone. He also said that India’s education sector has also made a steady progress to keep pace with the growing demand and meet the students’ expectations.

He said that India has great talent and resources that can contribute massively to different sectors and boost the economic growth of the country. Adding further, the minister said that the government has set up new 6 IIT’s and 8 IIM’s. The top priority of their government is to give hassle free education to all the students.

The Union Minister also asked the students to take pride in India’s rich cultural heritage. He urged the students to preserve the traditions and culture as they are way of living and should be preserved. He said that we should be proud as an Indian. He appealed the students to always pursue positivity in life as negativity is harmful to the society.

He also mentioned that Government’s Digital India initiative has gained popularity among other nations. So it is necessary by making digital payment to inspire the society.

Citing the advantages of the demonization, Naidu said the government will take every step to curb corruption or black money in the country. The government is encouraging people to switch to a digital regime and go cashless to rein in corruption.

He concluded by asking the students it is good to go outside for higher education but at the same time after learning they should return to change the society and highlight the value, ethics and positive stories of India when they go on to represent the country.

Chancellor of Galgotias University Suneel Galgotia while welcoming Union Minister Naidu said he the most respected political leader of today. Not only great orator but selflessly under the guidance of Hon PM ..for development of India. Shri Galgotias said that learning never stops ..learning is life long process, education must discover ourselves. Holistic education should render complete personality..which will lead to better place to live and work.
