Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday questioned the Congress on its silence over allegations of international arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari buying air tickets for Robert Vadra, Documents by Times Now reveal that there is clearly a link between Vadra and the fugitive arms dealer. The Vadra-Bhandari case is being talked about since it was revealed that Vadra’s London flat at in Bryanston Square was refurbished by Bhandari in 2016.Times now claimed that the emails show that Bhandari bought Vadra air tickets worth Rs 8 lakh for an Emirates flight in August 2012.
Although Vadra has denied having any financial relationship with Bhandari, the question now arises if Vadra travelled on these tickets. What is interesting is that the tickets for Vadra were booked at a time when the fugitive arms dealer was being questioned for his role in swinging a jet trainer deal for Swiss company Pilatus.
