World Autism Awareness Week at Greater Valley School

Greater Valley School, Greater Noida in collaboration with Vizvasta Foundation organized a special event aptly titled “Nistha” for the children with Special Needs. The students of the Special needs department of Greater Valley School “Saamarth” displayed vibrant paintings and walked the ramp on this occasion. The event had been organized to commemorate the World Autism Week. It was heartwarming to see the special children put aside their apprehensions and confidently walk the stage.

Mr Vinay Agarwal, Director, Samtel Avionics Ltd, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was followed by a special talk on positive parenting & improving communication skills by Ms. Arpita, who is a senior counseling psychologist with Fortis Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion Principal, Ms. Poonam Chaubey encouraged the participants and appreciated the work being done by the teachers of Saamarth. She expressed her belief in the venture and wrapped the event by expressing, “Where there is hope, there is faith. Where there is faith, miracles happen. I would request all present here to never give up on anybody; as miracles happen every day.”
