World Book Fair Commences in New Delhi, Know where you can get tickets from

New Delhi (India), 26th February 2023: The New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) started at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on 25th February 2023. The fair has been set up with its full glory after a hiatus of three years.
A senior official of the Delhi Metro said that tickets for the NDWBF will be available at 20 metro stations. The ticket fee is set at Rs 10 for children and Rs 20 for adults, whereas school children, differently abled and senior citizens will be exempted from paying for the tickets. Alternatively, people can also buy tickets for the fair online.
On the Red Line, the tickets will be available at Dilshad Garden and Rithala. On the Yellow, tickets will be available at Jahangir Puri, GTB Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya, Rajiv Chowk, Hauz Khas and Huda City Centre, among others.
On the Blue Line, tickets will be available at Noida Electronic City, Noida Sector-18, Vaishali, Supreme Court (Pragati Maidan), Mandi House, Rajendra Place, Kirti Nagar, among others. Tickets will also be available at the ITO metro station on the violet line.
The theme for the fair this year is ‘Azadi is Amrit Mahotsav’. More than 30 countries and 1000 publishers are participating in the fair. There will be a separate pavilion to host the G20 countries and books from the countries will also be on display in Pragati maiden. Similarly, there is a separate NEP pavilion, Foreign pavilion and a pavilion for children. There is a special focus on readers with special needs and the fair includes an exhibition of audio, tactile and braille books.
The fair will conclude on 5th March 2023 and the timings for the fair are 11am to 8 pm whereas the timings to buy tickets at metro stations is from 9am to 4pm.
