Greater Noida (19 April 2025): The 59th edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair, one of the world’s largest fairs for home, lifestyle, fashion, furniture, and textiles, organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), commenced at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The fair was officially inaugurated by Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of Textiles, Government of India, who also toured the exhibition halls and interacted with various participants, showcasing India’s rich handicraft heritage.

In an exclusive conversation with Ten News Network, Dipti Bhandari, founder and creative force behind Nazraana, a children’s lifestyle and furniture brand under the parent company Bhandari Exports, shared insights into the brand’s latest showcase at an international trade fair.

Nazraana, known for its vibrant and sustainable children’s products, unveiled its collection under the theme World of Wonders—a concept born from Dipti’s personal experiences as a mother. This is the World of Wonder for kids, she said. I got this idea while my children were growing up. I used to create things for them, and at one point, I thought—why not take it up professionally?

The product line stood out at the fair for its eco-conscious materials and vivid colors, specifically designed to appeal to children. Our products are not only sustainable but also extremely colorful—something kids are naturally drawn to, Dipti explained. The level of comfort we offer takes the experience to another level.

Among the many offerings, the most loved and in-demand product was the customized study table and chair set, tailored for children’s needs. That was the star product—kids and parents both loved it, she shared.

When asked about international interest, Dipti proudly mentioned that the products received strong responses from buyers across the United States, Europe, and Canada. These regions showed the most interest in our products this year, which is a big encouragement for us.

Reflecting on the overall response at the fair, Dipti said, The response was very good. I don’t know about others, but people were constantly visiting to my products and showing genuine interest. They felt that our products were different from the rest.

Founded under the legacy of Bhandari Exports, a company with a solid background in quality craftsmanship and global trade, Nazraana is carving its niche in the international children’s market with creativity, sustainability, and a strong emotional connect.

IHGF Delhi Fair, running from April 16 to 19, 2025, continues to be a vibrant showcase of Indian craftsmanship and a vital networking hub for exporters and international buyers. With participation from thousands of artisans and over 3,000 exhibitors, the fair covers a wide range of product categories including home décor, textiles, furniture, fashion jewelry, and accessories.

Provisional export figures for handicrafts during the financial year 2024-25 stand at Rs. 33,490.79 Crores (US $3959.86 Million), according to Mr. R. K. Verma, Executive Director of EPCH – a testament to the growing global appeal of India’s artisanal heritage. As the fair unfolds, exhibitors will continue to push the boundaries of creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship, strengthening India’s position in the global handicraft marketplace.
