New Delhi, 30th May 2023: The Indian wrestlers now contemplate their next move after they were released from custody. The wrestlers assured that they would continue to demand the arrest and WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who they have accused of sexually exploiting women grapplers.

Olympic medal winner Sakshi Malik took to Twitter and clarified that the protestors had not given up and would continue raising their voices to ensure their rights were fulfilled. On Sunday, Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sangeeta Phogat, Sakshee Malikkh, and several others were held by Delhi police as they sought to walk towards the new Parliament building for women’s ‘Mahapanchayat’.

The protestors added that they are in the process of gathering themselves and spent the day trying to devise yet another strategy for their protests. Sources added that all the wrestlers are being released one by one and are working to decide on a common place to gather.
