Yamuna Authority Conducts 62nd Board Meeting: These are the key decisions !

Sixty second board meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development authority was organized today at YEIDA office in Greater Noida. YEIDA Chairman Dr. Prabhat Kumar presided over the meeting and many key policy decisions were taken during this meeting.

The board has decided to give free land to NHAI near the zero point of Easter Peripheral Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. Around 97 hectare of land will be given to NHAI for development of facility.

Other than this YEIDA board also agreed to extend Noida- Greater Noida metro up to Jewar Airport. All issues related to Jewar Airport were passed unanimously during the board meeting. It was also decided to facilitate the development of storage houses so that MNC’s and domestic companies get ample storage space to keep their supplies.

It was also decided that old allottees of sector 18, 20 would not be brought under the GST umbrella. There has also been a relaxation in interest being levied on instalments of allottess and it has been reduced by 1.5%.

 

YEIDA has also adopted UP IT and electronics policy. Under this policy large companies and manufactures will be encouraged to set up their bases in YEIDA area.

The authority also approved that farmers will be allowed to set-up gas godown’s or petrol pumps on agricultural land after acquiring necessary permissions. The existing norms of such construction as mentioned in UP Industrial Act will be invoked in such cases and construction will be allowed on charged an impact fee by the authority.
