YEIDA initiates anti-encroachment drive against land grabbers

Taking strict action against encroachers grabbing  he land of six district region that comes under the YEDIA region. Prabhat Kumar Chairman of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority had now directed their officers to initiate a drive against the land grabbers.  Six teams have been deployed for the drive and will work from 8 AM till 10:30 AM and will identify the spots of encroachment

According to YEIDA officials, the Authority will carry out the special drive in heavy police presence so to avoid any disruption. Officials have been directed to provide a full report of the drive to the chairperson, while senior officials have been asked to conduct a weekly review of the anti-encroachment drive.

Each team will submit their report on day to day basis. Arun Vir Singh, CEO, YEIDA said, “Once we have all the details, further action will be decided and taken within a week against the land grabbers”.

“We have received information that large tracts of land, for which farmers have already taken compensation, still remains under cultivation of crops. This will be cleared and land retrieved by YEIDA,” he added.
