Yogi Adityanath directs authorities to complete work on Ganga Expressway by 2024

Lucknow, 19th June 2023: UP CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the a high-level conference conducted on Sunday informed officials about the progress of under-construction and new motorway projects, as well as the development of the Industrial Corridor and Defence Corridor in the state, and provided required directions.

According to the announcement, CM Adityanath has directed officials to complete the Ganga Motorway by December 2024, and an industrial cluster will be built along the route. The CM instructed the officials to choose a spot.

The CM stated that in the new India, new Uttar Pradesh will be known as ‘Express Pradesh’. “The Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Motorways have already been dedicated to the nation,” he added, adding that the Ganga Motorway and Gorakhpur Link Motorway are currently under construction.

Then CM Yogi said that connecting the Bundelkhand Motorway, which has become the state’s lifeline, with Jhansi and Chitrakoot is critical.

“The budget also includes funds for the Chitrakoot Link Motorway and the Jhansi Link Motorway.” “Both of these new motorways will hasten Bundelkhand’s progress,” the statement continued.

According to preliminary estimates, the Chitrakoot Link Motorway will be about 20 kilometres long, while the Jhansi Link Motorway will be about 125-135 kilometres long.
