Youth should follow Swami Vivekanand teachings, says Prof. Dinesh Kumar

Faridabad, 14 January – J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, on the occasion of 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda celebrated National Youth Day and organised a two-day Youth Conclave to mark the occasion. The Vivekanand Manch of the University organised various activities such as quiz, poster making, debate and essay writing competition under the conclave in which students actively participated.

Vice Chancellor of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions Dr. N.C. Wadhwa was the keynote speaker of the program which was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar. The programme started with paying rich floral tributes on the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Dr. Wadhwa shared his knowledge on the ideologies of Swami Vivekanand and urged the students to be united and dedicated themselves for nation building.



In his address, Vice Chancellor J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology Prof. Dinesh Kumar spoke about character building, which was the core tenet of teachings of the great soul. Prof Dinesh Kumar advised the youth to read the books on Swami Vivekananda for inspiration.

Deputy Director of Employment Exchange Haryana Dr. J.L. Dviwedi also addressed the student and gave them idea about the morals and values of Swami Vivekanand. The program was coordinated by Director, Youth Affairs Dr. Pradeep Dimri and Dy. Dean, Student Welfare Dr. Sonia Bansal.
