YouTube announces $25 million investment to fight fake news
Video sharing platform YouTube has announced it will invest $25 million to counter the spread of fake news on its platform. The investment is part of the $300 million Google News Initiative which was launched earlier this year in March. YouTube will also add context to video search results about breaking news topics and include linked previews of news articles.
