“Co-create, Co-Exist and Celebrate” at Auto Expo 2018, Twenty four vehicle launches expected this year!

Auto Expo 2018 is going to start from 8th February at India Expo Mart Greater Noida. The motor show 2018 is being jointly organized by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of India Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and accredited by International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA).

In this edition of Auto Expo there is slated to be a participation of 28 two/three wheelers, 14 four wheelers, 9 commercial vehicle manufacturers and in combined they are expected to unveil around 100 vehicles.

Speaking to Ten News, Arun Malhotra, Chairman, SIAM Trade Fair Group, said, “This Auto Expo 2018- The Motor Show is going to be a grand exposition that has built a unique brand image for itself over the years. It is the biggest platform for the iNidan Automobile industry to showcase its journey towards the future of ‘Mobility in India’, with competitive & world class product’s, technology & futuristic concepts”.

On being asked about various auto companies including Audi and Skoda pulling out of this year’s edition he said, “There are various aspects that every automobile company has to see before taking part in such show. Having any new product or concept vehicles to exhibit as well as the outlook of their global decision makers plays a vital role. We have many new entrants this year and with around 100 exhibitors, this Year’s auto show is bigger than ever”.

Debasish Majumder, Director – Trade Fairs, SIAM said, “After the grand success of two previous editions of Auto Expo, we are delighted to be here with yet another edition of the Auto Expo- the Motor Show. We have added on additional day to the illustrious show this year for visitors wanting to be a part of this mega exposition. A lot of efforts have been made to offer safe, comfortable and a uniquely holistic experience to the visitors”.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has also been invited for the Inauguration however his confirmation is awaited. As per organizers total exhibitors for this year’s show is 100 in which there are 51 vehicle exhibitors and new start-ups are 12.

The theme of this year’s expo is to “Co-Create, Co-Exist and celebrate”. There will also be vehicle lottery for general ticketed visitors. A dedicated auto gaming arena has also been created in hall-12 to offer a unique experience to gaming enthusiasts.

During the days of expo, free shuttles will be available for commuters from Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station.
