“Prayatna Ek Koshish” a initiative by Cornerstone India foundation for differently abled childrens

Today Cornerstone India foundation, an NGO working with differently abled children’s  for last 4 years celebrated their sports meet “Prayatna Ek Koshish” at Shaeed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium Greater Noida.

The event was sponsored by Roatary Club Elite Noida and was attended by 150 differently abled children’s  from 11 special schools of Delhi NCR. The event was graced by Mrs. Shelly Maheswari Gupta who is Mrs. Asia pasific 2017 along with many other distinguished dignatories from the field of education and sports. 57 neurotypical (normal) students from various senior secondary schools like Pragyan, GD Goenka, Samsara, St.Joseph, Jesus and Mary school, DLF world school participated as volunteers and learnt to appreciate children with special needs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This years event was jointly organized with Special Olympics Bharat Delhi. The events were of both competitive and non competitive nature depending on the abilities of the children. There were other attractions like experience zone by Decathlon, dental camp by ITS. Emergency medical services were provided by Yathart group of hospitals Greater Noida.
