Rekha Se Chandni Tak: A Musical Tribute to Amitabh Bachchan by Vineet Chaudhury

New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is till date thankful for everyone’s prayers, which brought him back to life after he met with a fatal injury while shooting for the movie ‘Coolie’ in 1983 film. Fans across the globe have marked this day as the Rebirth of Big B.

Vineet Chaudhury, Anchor, Actor, Writer, Singer, social activist, Founder of the A for Amitabh ( A series of shows in honour of Amitabh Bachchan), who Runs a Bachan’s Fan club and Most importantly the biggest fan of Amitabh Bachchan, Organised a Musical Evening ‘Rekha se Chandni Tak’ paying tribute to Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday at Rajendra Bhawan, New Delhi.

With a huge backdrop screen that played the most memorable moments in the life of Amitabh Bachchan, Various Artists payed perfect tribute to Mega Star Big B by Singing his iconic songs.

The show witnessed various Artists Singing Legendary songs like, Bahoon ke har phool ko Apna Samjhe Baghban, Tera Mera Saath rahe, Bekhudi me Sanam, Bhor bhaye panghat pe, Jab aati hogi yaad meri and Ik Rasta Hai Zindagi, attracted a large number of keen listeners from the city.

The show Highlight was the performance by ‘Benzy’ A Musical Wonder child. Benzy who is autistic but is a very special Artist and her forte is music. Her parent had adopted Music Therapy full flegedIy and She began learning the lndian classical ragas from a very young age, to
help her voice & speech. Singing the ragas resulted in her then rather feeble voice becoming stronger & melodious, to such an extent that she sang for many audio cassettes.

On the occasion, Ten News Caught with the Muscial wonder child Benzy’s mother. Speaking to Ten News about benzy’s musical journey, she said,

“When Benzy was in her childhood we understood that she doesn’t react like normal child and doctor said that you have to work on her lifelong. We observed that Benzy has a liking towards music, and she reacted to a musical toy. We then included music in her daily routine. In 10-15 years of hard work, she started responding to music and now she is standing in front of you by winning three national awards.”

Ten New also caught with the Man of the Moment, Vineet Chaudhury, Speaking about his show, he said,

“Today is 3rd of August and i would like tell you 36 years ago, 2nd August was the day when Bachchan sahab rebirth happened. Doctors have declared him dead after that ‘coolie’ movie incident. We celebrate this day because as this day mark as a rebirth of Amitabh Bachan.”

Speaking about his love for Amitabh Bachchan, he said,

“i don’t remember when it all started, For as long as I can remember i always was mad fan of Amitabh Bachchan. I feel really lucky i’m in position to worship and be close to to that man who has a biggest fan base in the world.”
