Republic day will be adding more glitter to authority’s Carnival : ACEO Greater Noida Authority

Greater Noida (22/01/2019) : Celebrating its 28th foundation day Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority along with its officials is planning for a bash from 25th to 28th January as part of foundation day celebrations. A four-day grand carnival will be organized at Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park popularly known as City Park, Greater Noida. Apart from this, there will also be different venues within the city for such events.

The four-day grand celebration will begin on 25th January around 5 pm at City Park with a ribbon cutting followed by band performance of ITBP proceeded with different cultural activities. Detailing about the event K K Gupta ACEO, Greater Noida Authority told that “This four-day carnival will be a bonanza of Dance, cultural activities, sports and competitions. There will a 5 km run for fun with a motive to spread a message of India’s unity and integrity among the citizens. As Republic Day is also falling in between the carnival so we are trying to make celebrations more grand and patriotic, children’s will be giving number of patriotic performances. And apart from this folk cultural program of Uttarakhand will also be the part of the event.

Apart from City Park other venues will be Greater Noida Sports complex for the sports event and Run for Fun event, while Sharda University, Galgotias University, Shiv Nadar University will be hosting different cultural activities and competitions like Hackathon & Ideathon.

In the city park there will be different food stalls and arrangements of fun activities for children’s. Apart from these Handicrafts stalls, Science Exhibition and many more fun activities will also be there. Entry will be free of cost.
