New Delhi: Workers of Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) had formed a human chain in support of major education reforms at Connaught Place in Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.
The programme was the extension of RLSP’s human chain programme held in 7,280 schools of Bihar to create awareness among the people for quality education and also for strengthening the education system.
On the occasion, senior leader of the RLSP, Nagmani said, “We have given 25-point memorandum to the Union government in a bid to enhance our education policy which is the state stationary.”
Amending in Mid-Day meal programme, improve quality of education in government schools. In the memorandum, “Our party has urged to hire an NGO for Mid-Day meal programme not to indulge teachers in it.”
However, the party faced flake in Bihar when JDU, BJP, LJP all alleys of the NDA had denied to take part in the rally. Though, support for the human chain by Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha’s RLSP came from an unexpected quarter — Lalu Prasad’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) — and several senior RJD leaders also took part in it.
