Three MCD’s Joint Session In Delhi to Stop Ongoing Sealing Drive Goes in Vain!

New Delhi: The three BJP-ruled municipal corporations of Delhi held a joint emergency meeting on Saturday to pass a resolution for a six-month ban on the ongoing sealing drive in the national capital.In this emergency session, the three municipal corporations stared discussing resolution requesting that the ongoing sealing of traders properties be stayed for six months. The plan was to solve the issue by presenting a working solution. As In these six months, the civic bodies and the Delhi government will complete the work of formulating regularisation and conversion charge rules and put them in public domain.

The mayors of the three civic bodies, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Preety Aggarwal and Neema Bhagat were Also present at the Joint Session. But the things got heated up And the proceedings of Joint session of MCD’s was stopped after some minutes due to furious behavior of the members present in the meeting.

Ten News Caught up with, BJP councilor, Vineet Vohra, he Said, “I felt Bad at a time when people of Delhi were disturbed due to the ongoing sealing campaign, the government instead of helping them tried to mislead people on the conversion charge issue. it is regrettable that the Arvind Kejriwal government has failed Delhiites by neither notifying the commercial roads nor starting the formalities for regularising unauthorised colonies”.
