Vedrana Foundation 21 days plantation drive concludes with Environment Seminar at Sheoran International School

After the successful campaign of 21days tree plantation drive by Vedarna Foundation, A seminar over Environment: Duties & Challenges was organized in Sheroan International School, Greater Noida.
During this seminar various environmentalist and social activist showed their concern over this serious issue. During the event Sushma Malik principal of Sheroan International School was present along with Anil Chauhadary, President, Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation, Dr Richa Sood , Dr Rajdev Tewari remained present.
Program began with traditional light lamping ceremony followed by speeches at the event. Kuldeep Malik from Vedarna Foundation said, ” The fourth pillar of democracy media is not very concerned about the environment that’s why they don’t talk a lot about it. Our rapidly growing population is serious concern we only share 2.4 % of total land area of the world but when it comes to population we are having 18 % total world population means ever 6th person in the world in Indian.”
Presenting his views on the topic Anil Chauhadary from Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation said “there are different aspects of environment and the way we can conserve it but I will go on thing over which I am working from last 4 years that is population. When you will try to get into the details of pollution you will find it was inter linked with the population. As to fulfill the demands of our increasing population we cut down trees and that Leeds up to pollution. For example all the basis requirements in a school like books, copy, pencil, eraser, benches etc all these things are made up of trees. And these are also our necessity. So if we want to control pollution w have to first control pollution.”
Eminent Educationist Dr Richa Sood gave thought provoking power point presentation on environment .
Later all the dignitaries were facilitated with a plant sapling as the seminar is over environment. Principal of the school delivered vote of thanks to every one for their contributions to the cause
