20,000 pets down with tick fever

Around 20,000 pets in Gautam Budh Nagar have reportedly fallen ill with tick fever this summer. The only government veterinary hospital in Noida gets 20 pets suffering from this fever, daily. Doctors said tick fever is a threatening disease caused by a variety of bacteria and viruses, which lead to severe complications in pets if not treated on time.
