2nd Workshop-Workshop on Optimization Techniques.

The second session of the workshop was again a warm gathering of eminent people from the field of Engineering and was initiated by the talk of Dr. K.K.Mishra, Asst.Prof., CSE, MNIT, Allahabad on “Nature Inspired Algorithm” and its applications in various engineering fields. He extensively talked about Genetic Algorithms with practical examples and showed its implementation. He briefed on how research problems can be solved using biological (nature inspired) algorithms. He updated on the recent research work.

This was followed by practical training session of Mr. Nitin Saxena, Research Scholar MNIT, Allahabad on Matlab.

The concluding lecture of the workshop was delivered by Dr. Nitin Singh, Astt. Professor, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, MNIT, Allahabad on Artificial Neural Networks.

Valedictory Function

The Chief Guest of valedictory function was Prof. Om Vikas, Senior Director, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. Of India who was welcomed by the Director. He appreciated the efforts put in by the Organizing Committee of the workshop and congratulated all and the student volunteers too.

There was a prize awarding ceremony, prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners of Chess and Table tennis competition conducted recently in the campus through hands of the Chief guest Prof. Om Vikas, Senior Director, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of  India.

The workshop was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Shailesh Tiwari, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida and token of appreciation was handed to the Chief Guest.
